At Snakeroot Botanicals, we have developed our own custom blended soils perfect for your indoor houseplants. We have a general potting mix great for the majority of houseplants, and we have a succulent mix for those plants that need some extra drainage.

All of our custom soils are available in bulk meaning you can take as little or as much as you may need.

Both of our soil blends are completely peat free. Peat moss is found in the vast majority of commercially made soils available in the United States. Peat moss extraction is a huge driver of carbon emissions and also significant habitat loss for very unique ecosystems around the world.

We feel quite strongly that you can get a better quality soil without peat and feel a bit better about helping the planet.
